Hi all, I think I remember seeing this name here. If anyone has knowledge of this place, will you please speak about Blackwell's Island in the time around 1906? Thanks, Judi
B Island was a place of Dickensian horrors. It had a psych asylum, prison, charity hospital, smallpox hospital, and a workhouse. Acquired by NYC in 1828.
