I don't see my emails post. Recommend searching earlier census records with a different surname spelling. A capitol G was more commonly inscripted to look like a larger small "g." It can look like an S. Thy GRA..., GRAG, GROG, GEAG. This lower case r could look like a sloppy capital E.
