To answer questions posted in above issue. G-Grandparents went from Cork to England......my grandfather left England from Liverpool, and of course they stopped at Queensland asa usual for those times.... He was in the US Army from 1898-1901. All the Brit. census from 1871-1901, say BORN in Cork. That doesn't mean it's true could have been an answer they made up, as most Irish eing untrusting of the Brits. I have NEVER been able to get passed the G-gfather, in any book, record or documentation. I have his death cert but it doesn't have any info other than where he lived at time of death, who was in attendence, and what cause of death, and his age, unlike our death certs in NY.
