Today, the 10th and final ward of the 1865 NYS census for Troy went on line, on the Troy section of my website. This is a very big ward with two districts divided Middleburgh Street. The ward contained 4,621 individuals living in 612 dwellings and 976 families. Special thanks go to the transcribers of this ward who gave up their time to help others: Sharon Kink, Terry Bora, Amy LaPietra, Bob McConihe and Earl Smith. The total census is now online by wards. Over the next week or so, I shall get a main index online for the total census for easy searching, much like what is online for 1875 and 1880 censuses.
