My great-grandfather was Michael McMahon came over from Clare Ireland on the Antartic in 1864 and lived in the Flatlands, NY. He had 2 sons John & Thomas born in 1868 and 1871 before moving out to Iowa/Illinois. Are there birth/christening records available for those years - 1868-1871 - anywhere on-line? If not, is there any way to get those records? I'd like to find out his wife's name. Also, where would I find County Clare birth records...I know his parent's names and that he was born in Dec. 1841?? Mary Ann in CT
