To request a lookup for New York State marriages deaths etc. contact the Onondaga Library in Syracuse.  They have a copy of what NARA in NYC has.  They will do lookups within a 5 year span.  Believe their records start at 1881. lig@onliborg To see FHC/LDS  films for NYC and its boroughs go to site below.  It is a WIKI for all boroughs.  Go to bottom of page for links.  I find it easier than searching for  each borough separately.
