Does anyone have information on Irish gangs in NYC 1880-1920?  My great-grandfather was a member of the White Hands in Brooklyn.  There is not much mentioned about the White Hands in Gangs of New York or in Gangster City. Anna Caulfield

Anna, I searched under my Norton Search (I have Noton Anti Virus & it's part of my toolbar.)  I came up to a page from Wikipedia..tried to send the page but lost everything. So try "White Hands Gang" under google or wikipedia.  They had an article plus a list of other readings available.  Sorry I couldn't send it. If you can't get it let me know & I'll try again another way.
