For years I have searched for my mother's half-sisters. amazingly they turned up through my family history work --- both of us looking for one person, they were searching for their father, my grandfather! I understand personally about adoption, we adopted a teenager. She knew her parents the day she left them and came here and I have supported her wishes over the years as to contact. She has recently reunited with part of the family with our blessings. We didn't get the ABC TV show here, I looked for it. Adoption stories always tug at my heartstrings!
