    3. The town of Saranac Lake, NY became a TB treatment center, based on the work of Dr.Trudeau (the institute still carries on immune system research). My grandmother & grandfather met there - they were staying at different "cure cottages." Mail from NYC arrived twice daily. There is a lovely book called "Cure Cottages of Saranac Lake." The library here sill has recirds from the old Trudeau Clinic, and I found records of my grandmother & aunt early 1900's). --- On Wed, 12/9/09, Joy Bugos <joybugos@yahoo.com> wrote: > From: Joy Bugos <joybugos@yahoo.com> > Subject: Re: [NY-IRISH] Question about TB sanatorium > To: ny-irish@rootsweb.com > Date: Wednesday, December 9, 2009, 11:52 AM > > > > > > ________________________________ > From: Kay Brearton <Kbrearton@nycap.rr.com> > To: ny-irish@rootsweb.com > Sent: Sun, October 4, 2009 11:00:05 AM > Subject: Re: [NY-IRISH] Question about TB sanatorium > > I have a relative who died of TB at home.
