Thanks everyone for all the information...I still haven't quite figured it out.  The marriage was between Edward Mahoney and Anna Buckley (lis. was issued as Manhattan) on March 3, 1889.  the person performing the marriage was Frederic Janes (at least it looks like a "J", it is definitely not a "G") and the residence of the Clergyman was 337 Fourth Avenue.  The bride lived at 589 Third Ave in Manhattan around the time of her marriage.  When I put 337 Fourth Avenue in Mapquest, I get Brooklyn, NY.  I am not familiar with NYC.  I do know, that in Philly, some street names have been changed since 1889, and was also wondering if this could be the case.  I know she was Catholic. ====NY-Irish Mailing List==== Don't forget to check out the NY-Irish mailing list website.  Also, check/add your NY-Irish surnames on the Surname Registry:  http://www.connorsgenealogy.com/NYIrishList/ ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NY-IRISH-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
