Dear Roundtable Members and Friends everywhere, On Sunday, June 7th, at 10:30 A.M., there will be a celebration commemorating the laying of the cornerstone of the first cathedral church in New York City 200 years ago. There will be a Bicentennial Mass which will be led by the Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan, the Archbishop of New York, and a highlight of the parade will be a reenactment of New York State’s legendary 69th Regiment militia marching in front of the Cathedral on their way to the battlefields of the Civil War on April 23, 1861. This parade will wend its way through the streets of downtown Manhattan.
