What neighborhoods did the Irish primarily reside in NYC in the mid to late 1800's? Two sets of my Irish great grandparents on my father's side lived for a time in NYC. I have only a lillte info on them & am trying to figure out where they may have lived. I know one set married at St Elizabeth's in 1875 and that in 1 document they lliived in a polace called midway borough though I can't seem to find in which of the 5 NYC boroughs that was.
