NY. There is a link to a printable form to request a copy of the certificate from the Municipal Archives in New York City.    I have used this method to get copies myself and it is very reliable and efficient. Good luck, Lynn Carey Grice ====NY-Irish Mailing List==== Don't forget to check out the NY-Irish mailing list website.  Also, check/add your NY-Irish surnames on the Surname Registry:  http://www.connorsgenealogy.com/NYIrishList/ ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NY-IRISH-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Hello Kevin. I wanted to tell you a few things about these records because I know you have a discrepancy in the marriage dates. I'm not sure how the German Gen. group volunteers get their information, but I've done transcriptions for the Italian Gen group. www.italiangen.org These two groups help each other with records. The records I worked on were deaths for the Boroughs. The information was typed on index cards, and very difficult at times to read. It's quite possible that the date of marriage for Patrick and Margaret was also difficult to read, and therefore was transcribed incorrectly. If you're sure about the names, I think I would take a chance and send for the marriage cert. Be sure to enter 'Queens' as the Borough, and the cert. number.
