I thought this was odd also, but going back to the beginning of the show, her mother was concerned about what happened to her mother, so maybe that is why they focused on her. I was wondering all through the show about the siblings. Another thing was how easy they found Tuscany. Both Susan and her son go to the NYPL and immediately find the area her ggrandfather was from by just the surname.
