    2. Hi Pat, and everyone, FYI Folks, you can use ellipses very easily, when you write an email, but only want to focus on key points. These are a series of 3 dots [periods] to show that information was omitted from the original message. The basic way to do this is space point space point space point space...like this: ( . . . ) not (...) Please see my example below, and how I only focused on the "meat" of Pat's message. This slims down email posts, doesn't repeat whole emails, yet lets readers know what part of Pat's message I'm responding to onlist. Easy!
