    3. especially with a list like this the safest thing to do is not click on a link, unless it makes sense to you, but most of us on this list will not post links. Maybe there should be a rule where as if we are to send a link we do it spaced out like www. yahoo. com and then delete the spaces? just a thought. I myself received a terrible virus from facebook in an email from an old history teacher ... thought it was odd he would send me an email with a link, clicked on it anyways, and was instantly infected. It cost me over 300 to fix this "worm" as it was called. I have Norton and luckily it scans this email so I didn't even receive the message. I looked through my spam folder once and found an email from my yahoo account to this one about prescriptions, I never sent that! Spam is horrible, unless you are expecting an email with a link in it you should never click on the link.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Connors" <nymets11@pacbell.net> To: "ny irish" <ny-irish-l@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 07, 2010 5:31 PM Subject: [NY-IRISH] ADMIN MSG: spam email sent > The list just posted an email with the subject, "hello friend".
