Dotty, Hm. I had 45 instances come up for Michael Dunn when I searched. So far I haven't ascertained whether any of them could be my great-great-great-grandfather, but they definitely have some in that database. Ancestry's search function can be rather finicky at times, but I've found that searching straight from this link ( http://search.ancestry.com/iexec/Default.aspx?dbid=8760 ) is the cleanest way.
