Sheila, It was a link on someone's email. But it had to do with The Railroad Retirement Board in Wash DC. Sorry I can't do better than that. If you google Railroard Retirement Board you will come up with stuff. I had spoken to a man many years ago I think in the NJ RRRB. If I could give him the name of the RR my great gpa was on I could have seen his records. Unfortunately, I didn't know which one & there were quite a few in Jersey City back then in 1870-----'s on up. My problem was his name was John KELLY. Now if I went back in, which I may one of these days, I have his DOD, the RR line, I also have his son, Michael, 19, born Ireland in 1872, who also worked on the rr & was killed falling under a train at 18, so that should sure be a clue which John KELLY I would think! One of these days.
