If you are on many Rootsweb mailing lists, as I am, you might be seeing a lot of spam hitting the lists now that they are online again. Luckily, not too much on these lists because I have set my controls so those not subbed to the list, cannot post unless I allow them to. So, it you are on some lists that have been getting tons of span since the lists went online, don't click on the links and do not complain to the list admin because we are all trying to get a hold on the situation. Some of the lists, Admin Utilities, are not fully functional. On one list today I was unable to change a subscribers email address. I guess that Ancestry/Rootsweb will work out these problems as they find them and apply fixes. I know when I moved my small website, I found many glitches and still am finding them even though it is almost 2 yrs since I moved it from one server to another. So, I am asking you to have patience and not make all the problems part of our list conversations. If you have a problem with posting, etc. just contact me at this email address. I will be home all day and online so will be able to hopefully help you. Take care, Pat -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA, list admin http://www.connorsgenealogy.com nymets22@gmail.com
