Note got sent before I finished telling you about the Rooneys. - Thomas *ROONEY was born in Ireland about 1827 - possibly Sligo, He first went to Canada and then Watertown, New York. From there to Illinois and then Minnesota. I have very little information on his sister,* *Catherine Rooney *(my ggm), also born in Ireland, She came to MN where she married my ggf *Thomas GARRICK. They had 8 children, including my grandmother, Agnes, b 1877 in MN. she married Joseph LYNCH in 1901.* *I think the BAXTERS, FIELDS and ROONEYS *probably all came to America through Canada but can find no records.
