This morning when I turned on my computer and opened my mail, I found that a number of posts to the list were held for my approval to post to the list. They were held because of size. When I looked at them, while sent from different subscribers to the list, all had the full message they were responding to repeated in their message. They original message was a big one, plus all those signatures files that are put there by Rootsweb (how to unsub from list) and others were attached and repeated and repeated. So being a New Year, I sent the posts back to the sender and requested they edit their messages by deleting much of the repeated message plus all those signature files. Why, you may ask, because if you get your post by digest, the original message gets lost with all the repeated messages. I get all my mail via digest, even from the lists I admin which subscribe to both formats. Sometimes, when I get a digest that is mostly repeated message, I can't find the new stuff so I just end up deleted the whole digest.
