Hello Krys and Gina, I'm also looking for GARRISONs in Rockland and Orange Counties. First is Samuel who enlisted at Haverstraw in Feb.1777 and was taken prisoner in Oct 1777 at Ft. Montgomery. Next his son Samuel, born ca. 1775 mar. Abbie PORTER and after1800 lived in Monroe , Orange. They had children Walter , William Hiram Nancy and Maryann.There are 2 or 3 different Garrison clans in that area, hard to make the right connection.
