Jennie Onderdonk Kreymer, of Warwick, passed away May 20, 2003 at her home. She was 98. The daughter of the late William Augustus and Alice Pilgrim Kreymer, she was born on February 10, 1905 in Edenville, N.Y. She was the widow of Melvin Edsall Kreymer. Mrs. Kreymer was a retired nurse in the OB Unit of St. Anthony's Hospital, Warwick and a nurse at the Orange County Infirmary, Goshen. For many years, she helped her husband Melvin run their farm known as the Kreymer Farm in Warwick. A family statement reads, "Our Mom and Grandma was selfless and unlimited in her Love for her family." She is survived by her daughter, Alice K. Ackerman of Warwick; her grandson, Drew K. Ackerman; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, May 24 at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday May 25 at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday May 27 in the family plot in Warwick Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Warwick Ambulance Corp. or Hospice of Orange.
