Van Sciver, a lifetime resident of Middletown, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 in Goshen. She was 101. Elizabeth was the daughter of Van Wyck and Grace Walker, and was born December 30, 1901 in Middletown. She was a retired photographer's assistant for Mitchell Studio, Middletown, a resident of Southwinds Retirement home for the past 14 years, a member of Queen Ester Order of Eastern Stars, and a member of North Congregational Church, Middletown. She is survived by nieces and nephew, Thomas Walker of Georgia, Marilyn Frey of Pennsylvania, Joan Tetz of New Jersey, Judy Myers of Ohio, and Lynda Slesinski of Middletown. She was the widow of Harry P. Van Sciver. Following private family services, burial will be in Westbrookville Cemetery.
