    3. Frank- I see you'll be taking on the Nichols in a future volume. Am interested in Benjamin Nichols from Amesbury. He married a couple of Quaker gals. Seems to have been involved in Quaker land transactions - shows in Nine Partners in 1747, in Easton Washington Co in the 1780's, in Hoosick Rensselaer Co in the 1790 census. Seems to have gone into St. Lawrence County NY about 1810 or thereabouts. He also shows as founder of a town in Vermont. Is Nine Partners in your area of concern? Benjamin's son Rowland Nichols appears to be an ancestor. Rowland's daughter Mary married the John Chapman that we've spent so much time and effort trying to track down in your Chapman section. Let me know. Be happy to share what I have on Benjamin.
