For AOL folks particularly: if you are not receiving expected messages, it may be a problem with the way you have your mail settings set up in an effort to avoid receiving the spam. AOL has a setting that makes it so that you can only receive messages from people you have sent messages to. Since you have NOT sent a message to everyone on this group or other groups you may belong to, posts from those groups are not recognized as coming from someone you know. Hence, you don't get them. Another situation where you won't get expected mail is when you fill out a form on a website. AOL's mail filter will not recognize the address of the person you were sending the form to, and will bounce their response to you. My advice: don't use on AOL mail filter if you want to receive mail from e-groups like this one, or want to be able to get responses from forms you fill out on the web. Rely instead on your "delete" key. I use AOL and all of a sudden I wasn't getting my newsletter's from Ancestry.com or my newsletter from Dick Eastman which I pay for!! Lanah
