Hi Patricia, I have tried to get a copy of the 1890 census from my local library(Newburgh, NY) and they tell me it doesn't exist due to a fire in Washington, DC can you tell me what census between 1850 and 1890 would have this information "when did you immmmigrate to the USA? " I'm trying to find the year my g-parents came from ireland. I did find this information from a 1900 census for another grandfather, but both of my father's parents were not living by that time, one having died about 1877 and the other in 1893. Any help would be appreciated.
