    2. Hello again Krys, I viewed a film today on deeds in Rockland county, NY for year 1825. This one doc is from Clarkstown, it's very hard to read, but it mentions a Garrett Garrison as a witness to James & Margaret Garrison (grantor). Other names include, Joseph Garrison(deceased), Abraham Blauvelt, Abraham Bonker, Peter Stephens & John Van Houten. Are these yours? Surr Crt has pro. records; County Clerk has div and ct records. Pat Connors <nymets11@pacbell.net> wrote:> Where do I find vital information, birth death etc for the city of > Medusa? I want the grave information for Elizabeth Salisbury Gifford wife of Jeremiah Gifford who died 12 July 1825. I would like to find information on her husband's death and find his will and their children. Thanks Marita

Different handwriting and very clearly different photocards because they are shown at http://www.mfdesignworks.com/hhs/hist.htm And there are no Alder or Grand Street in Herkimer for sure. likely one of towns downriver from Herkimer since Herkimer had ICE as part of Great Herkimer Flood of 2 March 1910 somewhere upriver from Cohoes toward Herkimer -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [USGW-Discuss] Mystery Flood Postcards -- Possibly Mohawk River, New York?? Resent-Date: Thu, 1 May 2003 23:12:24 -0600 Date: Thu, 1 May 2003 22:12:32 -0700 (PDT) From: Joy Fisher <sdgenweb@yahoo.com> To: USGENWEB-DISCUSS-L@rootsweb.com Hi Guys: I have uploaded a series of 4 postcards showing flood scenes dated 2 March 1910. There was a flood on the Mohawk River at that time caused by rain, melting snow and the break-up of an ice jam on the river. The bulk of the flooding was between Herkimer and Schenectady. I am writing to see if any of you can id the town. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ny/graphics/postcards/flood.html
