    1. [HudsonRV] Looking for the WALTON Catholic lines
    2. I am working on the WALTON Catholic line from England-Ireland to PA and NY but not have much success finding them or finding the connection from the WALTON Catholic line to the WALTON non-Catholic lines. Seems most of the WALTON lines I am researching first settled in NEPA and settled in Hawley and surrounding areas in Wayne Co; others moved to the Scranton, Lackawanna Co areas. The Wayne County group moved with the canal to Roundout/Kingston area of New York where some moved to NY City and others to upstate New York. Most of the Scranton group stayed there and raised their families. Looking for any connections, information. Please contact me at wsullivw@aol.com Thanks and regards, Walton J. SULLIVAN Walton J. 1. Re: [HudsonRV] MUHLEMANN surname

    3. Marlene, St. Luke's is the hospital in Newburgh. Its first location was on Liberty Street in what is now the Elk's Lodge (155 Liberty). It is just north of Broadway. I don't know if there was any other hospital or infirmary in the city in your time frame but as Howard suggested, ask a librarian! I mapped 138 Broadway Newburgh NY on Mapquest.com. If you click on the big map button near the upper right of the map and zoom in as far as you can, all the addresses you mention are visible and you can see where they are in relation to one another. There are still many old buildings in this area of the city. 1. [HudsonRV] ref; Newburgh address
    2. The Muhlemann address for Newburgh would be City Terrace - North side first floor, the Hospital St. Lukes was well established by then at its present location on Dubois St. City Terrace and the area surrounding while in much decay today is pretty much the way it was in the 1890's, as most homes were a bit earlier. 3. Marlene, I can't answer the address question, but it's easy enough to find out whether folks by that name are still in Newburgh. Go to any of the on-line phonebooks, such as http://www.switchboard.com and enter the surname and city.
