In correspondence with a close family friend of Dan and his wife, I was informed that his co-workers in Virginia are putting together a memory book for his wife. "if there is anything you or others that knew him would like to convey about Dan - a nice memory or funny story I can put it in the book. We are holding a small memorial service for him next Thursday and we'll give her the book then." Dan died of a massive heart attack. He was at work alone Friday afternoon, found by the director when he had not returned home.
