We have a new reader/printer for microfilm, if we have the year and date one needs at Seymour Library. In fact the only papers we do not permit copying are the bound vols. in the History Room. So if you have not checked with Seymour Library lately, you will find that microfilm is available by asking at the main desk for the year and date you need, they will set it up for you (if it is there at all as many very early dates are not, however many are) the main desk is open at all times the library is open. The History room has separate hours and the bound copies are in that room, all information available on website at www.seymourlibrary.org Even with the bound copies, if a person has a digital camera, they may take a picture of a wanted item with that but you are correct, for those bound copies no photo copying is done for many years as they are SO FRAGILE. Mary Gilmore, History Room, Seymour Library, 176 Genesee St., Auburn, N.Y. 13021 315-252-2571 www.seymourlibrary.org all links available. also study http://www.rootsweb.com/~nycayuga/seymourl.htm that list might help, newspapers at # 4, 25, 29 & 30 thanks for Bernie & Sue Corcoran who maintain that site. --------------040405070306050203060909 Content-Type: text/plain; name="Re_ Re_ [NYCAYUGA] Surrogates Records - Box 7 - John TOBIAS (1830)].txt" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline; filename="Re_ Re_ [NYCAYUGA] Surrogates Records - Box 7 - John TOBIAS (1830)].txt" From: "Allen & Mary Gilmore" <Allgilmore@adelphia.net> To: "Bill Hecht" <wsh6@cornell.edu>; <undisclosed-recipients:> Subject: Re: Re: [NYCAYUGA] Surrogates Records - Box 7 - John TOBIAS (183= 0)] Date: Friday, February 11, 2005 11:34 AM It does depend on what paper anyone wants.
