Marie Sorensen was my great aunt. I grew up six miles from Diamond Valley, CA. Actually, Marie lived in Hope Valley further up the mountain where she & her husband ran Sorensen's resort. I am trying to research Marie Begue's family. Marie B. was born in CA in 1880. Her mother's maiden name may have been Amestoy. Do you know anything more than the obit you posted?
