The funeral of Bessie Mae, the nine year old daughter of A A Willis and Elbert S, their three year old son, both of whom died from membraneous croup, occurred. Rev A E Sawin, of the First Baptist Church of Reno, officiated and the internment was in the Mountian Veiw Cemetery. Elbert S Willis died Friday, and his sisters' death followed in a very few hours, death coming at 5 o’clock yesterday morning. The unfortuate parents are heart broken over the double misfortune, and there are other children of the family sick with the same trouble. I am only a volunteer, I have no connection to this family.
