It's a very wonderful wood burned portrait and on the back if it has a signature of L. E. Hacherelle New York. Xmas. 1902 I'm not sure if it's your Louis or not but would be very interested in finding out more information. Was he an artist? Was this a gift to someone? Are there more protraits? Etc.etc. The portrait hung in my fathers basement for years and when he moved I took it. I believe the house belonged to a gentleman named Mr. Puffer, or something like that.
