Cain, 75 died July 28, 2000 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. A Reno native, he was born March 14, 1925 to Glenn and Peggy (Reed) Cain and had lived in Reno most of his life. Cain worked 43 years for Sierra Pacific Power Company. He was a Korean War Air Force and World War II Army veteran and attended Reno High School. Surviving are wife, Norma (Bernard) and daughter, Valerie Cobos, both of Reno: son, James of Sparks: two grandsons and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Walton Funeral Home, Reno, 875 W. Second St. Cremation will be at Sierra Crematory, with inturnment at Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, Fernley.
