Our family lines knew him as Uncle Frank & he is my great uncle. The John mentioned in obituary is my grandfather. Their father was Benjamin, explaining probably why he was called Frank. If the Chicago inquirer was interested in Benjamin Boice/Boyce of Illinois that is probably the Benjamin who ties in to our line way back-through Arien Pieterse Buis.
