It was a series of articles from Chicago that was reprinted in the paper. There was a murder there. In the first column dated Chicago May 25th it tells of the murder of Dr. Cronin. Below that is Chicago May 27th with more story. Below that is Chicago May 28th. That article tells of BALDENWECK. Column two. In the presence of Mayor Baldenweck of Lake View and the police officers Sullivan revealed the whole plot, and the names of all those connected with the great crime. Mayor Baldenweck was seen this morning by a reporter and asked for a confirmation of the above statement. The Mayor declared that it was not true: but, nevertheless much credence is given to the story, as the authorities have not scrupled heretofore to deny the actual facts by which the case would be prejudiced. So he is assocaited with Chicago not Nevada it was just a reprint for thispaper.
