Reno Evening Gazette Sat. Nov. 18, 1950 Page 12, Col. 6 Eugene F. Marty, a driver for the American Railway Express Co., was found dead in the basement of his home this morning in what local officers said was apparently a suicide. Coroner Laurance Layman said Mr. Marty was killed by a bullet in the heart fired from a .22 rifle found near the body. A suicide note signed by the dead man was found in the home.
