June 3, 1962 Page 24, Col. 1 John Charles Faretto, a native of Steamboat, died yesterday at his home at 736 Humboldt St. He was 85. An engineer for many years for the Southern Pacific RR, he later went into business with his son, Harold in domestic and stock water wells. He was a member of the IOOF #14 of Reno. Survived by his son, his widow, Mrs. Nora L. Faretto; brother, Tony of Reno; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Ferrettta of Reno and Mrs. Mae Crowell of Alaska; two grandchildren and serveral nieces and nephews. O'Brien-Rogers Funeral Home.
