Canady who died in Mina on Tue. Burial at Mt. View Cemetery. A native of Utah, Mr. Canady was 48 yrs. old. For twelve years he worked in the Southern Pacific shops at Sparks, and for the last seven years had engaged in mining at Mina and Hawthorne. He served overseas with the American forces in the first WW and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign wars. He was the husband of Ruby Canady fo Sparks, and father of Mrs. June Toles, Billie Ray and Fred Canady of Sparks and Louis Canady, radioman third class in the Navy at Princeton University.
