It was a series of articles from Chicago that was reprinted in the paper. There was a murder there. In the first column dated Chicago May 25th it tells of the murder of Dr. Cronin. Below that is Chicago May 27th with more story. Below that is Chicago May 28th. That article tells of BALDENWECK. Column two. In the presence of Mayor Baldenweck of Lake View and the police officers Sullivan revealed the whole plot, and the names of all those connected with the great crime. Mayor Baldenweck was seen this morning by a reporter and asked for a confirmation of the above statement. The Mayor declared that it was not true: but, nevertheless much credence is given to the story, as the authorities have not scrupled heretofore to deny the actual facts by which the case would be prejudiced. So he is assocaited with Chicago not Nevada it was just a reprint for thispaper. Hello! I am looking for some information on the following. A burial site for Kevin Wayne Chaffee and George Nicholas Schow. George Nicholas Schow was born 6-12-1942 and died July of 1981. The Social Security Death Index states that de died in Reno, NV Washoe County. Kevin Wayne ? was born 11-29-1967 in Lawton, OK and his mothers name was Jeanne Chaffee as noted on his birth announcement. That does not mean that his last name is Chaffee. We can only assume that because she didn't always marry the person who fathered her children and may not have listed the father on the birth certificate. Jeanne Chaffee was arrested and spent 3 months in jail for the death of Kevin Wayne. He died at the age of 4 1/2 years of age. My husband along with his 3 living brothers wish to know what happened to their brother. All the boys were given up for adoption and have now been reunited as of this past weekend! They are desperately wanting to know "who they are". Can you please help? Thanks, Jennifer --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Our family lines knew him as Uncle Frank & he is my great uncle. The John mentioned in obituary is my grandfather. Their father was Benjamin, explaining probably why he was called Frank. If the Chicago inquirer was interested in Benjamin Boice/Boyce of Illinois that is probably the Benjamin who ties in to our line way back-through Arien Pieterse Buis. Thanks again, research is much easier when we help each other out by posting info!!
