Got the michrofilm for the Reno Evening Gazette Journal. I looked throught May of 1930 and would you believe it they had filmed every day except May 18 Sunday 1930. I checked the days they did film and found nothing for her death on May 16th 1930.. Next we went to the other newspaper in Reno and would you belived that part of 1930 the film is misplaced. So next went to the Ross Burke actual files for the letter R and the death certifice was not there. Evidently the Ross-Burke Funeral Home Records in Ancestry. Com that were posted in 1999 differ then what the Hist. Soc has. Don't give up hope yet we are all working on this one. Regards, Arline in Reno

Iveson Oliver David Iveson 90 of Silver Springs died in a Reno Hospital Friday. A native of Wisconsin he moved to Montana as a child and in 1900 moved to Cederville, Calif. where he raised and broke and ran horses. In 1901 he moved to Gerlach and went into ranching at Red Mountain Land and Livestock company. He moved to Beowawe in 1927 and ran the Anderson Ranch. Returning to Gerlach in 1931 he homesteaded a ranch and continued ranching and mining until 1944. Later he moved to Silver Springs and was active in mining until recently. Survivors includes daughters Ivy Jackson of McMinville Ore, and Violet Bristow of Lodi, Sons Evelyn of Sparks, Joseph of Reno, David of Gerlach; Thomas of Loveland and James of Cederville, Calif. 26 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held 2.30 pm Monday at the Ross burke and Knobel Mortuary with the Rev. John Petrausch of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. There is in the obit a photo of him when he was younger. If you want the hard copy of the obit with the picture please send me your U.S. Mail postal address and I will forward it to you.
