A telegram was received from San Francisco last evening announcing the death of Miss Lizzie SHAVER, formerly of this city. Miss Shaver was taken down with typhoid fever about two weeks ago. She passed peacefully away to her long sleep yesterday afternoon. For a number of years, Miss Shaver had been in the employ of the railroad hospital in San Francisco as a nurse and only lately came to Reno and nursed her brother, Edward, through an attack of the same disease that has claimed her as a victim. Miss Shaver was twenty-four years of age and a native of Altoona, PA. The remains will be brought up on No 6 tomorrow morning and the funeral will take place from the Methodist Church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Lizzie Shaver was one of the sweetest and best girls that ever lived.
