Judkins b. 4 Mar 1867 in Las Vegas Clark County Nevada. Charles/Henry's father was William S. Judkins, his mother was Rosetta Berry. Charles/Henry also had a brother William Burrell who may have been in the area as well as a sister Florence/Flora. He also had an uncle named Phillip Judkins who came west from Maine with his brother William. Charles/Henry was a cowboy, farmer, spoke several Indian dialects and probably moved in his early years to Carson or Verdi. His father and uncle had land in Washoe County Nevada and Sierra County California, there was a ranch called the Phillip Judkins Ranch which may have been located near Las Vegas or possibly Verdi.
