Valley View, who died Friday at a local hospital. The Rev. Donald Wehnert of St. Viator's Catholic Church will officiate. Born April 22, 1908, in Chicago, Ill, Mr. Warren was a resident of this area for eight years. He was a retired fireman from the Chicago Fire Department and worked as a security guard for the MGM Grand Hotel. A Navy veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 101 of Lowell, Ind., and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Lowell; he served as past commander of both. His survivors include: widow, Frances C. Warren of Las Vegas; one son, William Robert Warren Jr. of Las Vegas; three daughters, Mrs Colleen Nix of Chicago, Mrs. Carol Anderson and Mrs. Patricia Kohley, both of Las Vegas; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Entombment will be at Palm Mausoleum. Palm Mortuary is handling arrangements.
