I was reacting to a newspaper article and was hoping that there was someone local with pertinent information on the local Paiute Indians. This was not research for my family. Contacting the local Moapa Tribal Office would not provide that kind of information. There are Indian families who have been "booted out" of the tribe because they can't prove their Indian ancestry. That seemed like a problem that someone with research information could help!
