Debra Faria,Sheila Shearer, Tilford Landis, Jr., and Benjamin Segmiller were disenrolled from the Paiute tribe. New rules of the tribe say they don't have the required 1/4 Paiute heritage. Faria says her grandfather Manuel LOPEZ is listed on a Las Vegas Paiute census for 1940. Shearer's grandmother was Juanita WEED WILSON LEE. Greg Tuttle at tuttle@lasvegassun.com covers federal agencies. Does someone know or have information on the Las Vegas Paiute ancestry? They have to go before Paiute tribe court.
