Looking for children of Lester Gravlin (born 1908 in Mass) married in Las Vegas area to unknown bride sometime after 1947 and before 1952. Lester's brothers: Francis Winfred, Kenneth, and Winston. Hi! I am new to this list. I am looking for information on my grandfather Lester Oral Gravlin. Born 1908 in Mass. Married my grandmother Eraine Conklin @1930-33. Lived in Los Angeles co, Ca in the early 1940's. Was married 4 times total. I know of only 3: My grandmother, Gladys Adams in MO and Margaret Kennedy in VT-his last marriage, they lived in NYC until his death @1971. A distant cousin said he thought Lester had also been married in Las Vegas late 40's early 50's and had a daughter. Doesn't remember names. Would love to connect with her. I am trying to find out if copies of those newspapers were ever recorded on Microfilm. He is buried in Palm Memorial Park. I've found a Martha Jane Shellenbarger who died in Las Vegas in June 1987. I understand Milford "Bud" had a daughter Peggy by another marriage. She died before her father. If anyone has contact with her daughter & son, please contact me. ALSO, Milford and a 2nd wife had children. Would like to have contact with them. Milford's father is James A SHELLENBERGER. He died 18 Nov 1920 in Prescott, Yavapai, Arizona. He was born in 1865 Nebraska. Is he the one who was born in Gage County, Nebraska?

My g grandmother was Louisa Jane (Wiggins) Smith - born in 1869 and died 1950. She was married to John Smith (1860-1922) and lived her adult life on a ranch in the mtns east of Lake Tahoe. She and John had 5 sons. I have no information about her parents or birth location as she was orphaned and raised in a catholic orphanage. They are both buried in St. Theresa's Catholic Cemetary in Carson City. Please see my posts under Smith Wiggins this site - maybe we have a common ancestor and can assist each other.
