Mrs. BRANNAN was stricken sriously ill late Friday night and was taken to the hospital on Saturday morning. Mrs. BRANNAN who had made her home in Hawthorne since 1942 with her daughter, Mrs. Harvey GORDON and family was a native of Indiana and spent most of her life in the midwest. Her husband died a number of years ago and in 1942 Mrs. BRANNAN moved to Devil's Lake, North Dakota to reside at the GORDON home in Hawthorne. In addition to her daughter Mrs. GORDON, Mrs. BRANNAN is survived by a son Francis BRANNAN of Los Banos, CA who with his wife came to Hawthorne to attend the funeral of his mother. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five of her seven children.
