Mr. BERGER was 85 years old at the time of his death. Deceased was for many years a farmer in the Washoe Valley. He was prosperous and contented. As years passed and he became infirm, his mind failed and he was taken to the asylum in this city. For many years he has been a patient inmate of the institution. At all times he was contented and did not complain of his lot. For some time past the old gentleman was gradually failing in health and Sunday the end came. He passed away calmly as if going to sleep. The remains were brought to Reno and taken to Perkins and Oliver's parlors. The body will be shipped to Franktown today and the funeral will be Wednesday afternoon (30 Dec).
